CDS pyrolysis interfacing

GC and GCMS Interfacing the CDS pyrolysers is achieved simply through the 1500 interface with the Model 5000, and through a heated transfer line with the Model 5150 and 5200. If switching between pyrolysis and a liquid sampler is required, the 1500 interface or heated transfer ine are removed in under 2 minutes. The CDS-1500 interface and heated transfer line are installed with a switching valve arrangement that automatically maintains carrier gas flow even when loading the sample. Will fit all commercially available GC and GCMS.

Direct FTIR The only FTIR/pyrolysis interface commercially available provides in-beam thermal processing with the pyroprobe heating element placed directly in the FTIR beam for thermal evolution, vapourisation, and pyrolysis studies. Available for all commercially available FTIR benches using standard 25.4mm windows (2, 3, or 4mm thickness). The interface provides independent purge for optical path and sample cell with a high pressure and high temperature options also available.

Large sample interface The HTD-2000 is designed for rapid heating of larger samples using a 1/2 inch coil probe and allows rapid thermal desorption of semivolatiles without the need for trapping. Ideal for analysis of residuals, soils, and low organic content samples.

Coil filament for samples held in reusable quartz tubes or boats and ribbon filament for film and solvent deposited solids

Direct MS Custom made direct insertion probes are available for the inlet of a mass spectrometer allowing analysis directly in the ion source
