Milestone microwave synthesis systems - SPMR (Solid Phase Micro Reactor)

The SPMR (Solid Phase Microwave Reactor) is a unique product that allows for the homogeneous microwave heating of solid-phase reactions. The system incorporates an oblique rotating large glass vessel in which the reaction takes place. The design of the vessels provides continual agitation of the sample. Vessels with different volumes are additionally available to fit user requirements. The rotation of the vessel mixes the solid reactants that assures temperature homogeneity even with large sample amounts. A vacuum extraction system can be incorporated into the system for removal of gases produced or for synthesis under vacuum condition. Reactions can also be performed with introduced gases. Single or multiple reactions can be carried out with full control and documentation of the synthesis process

spmra
  • A range of volume vessels available up to 4L enabling scale-up of reactions
  • Optional vacuum extraction system for removal of evolved gases during reactions
  • Synthesis under vacuum or with introduced gases
  • Constant agitation of sample even with large volumes/weights
  • Constant monitoring and control of temperature
  • Control of rotation rate ensures optimal mixing

Advanced User Interface
The SPMR is operated via a compact terminal with bright, full-color, touch-screen display. The terminal runs Milestone's unique EasyCONTROL software, to provide simple, user-friendly control of the microwave synthesis process.

EasyCONTROL software
Milestone's new EasyCONTROL software is the most advanced and powerful operating system in the field of microwave synthesis providing automatic, real-time monitoring and feedback-based control of multiple parameters offering unsurpassed process control. Simply recall a factory stored program or create a new one. Press 'Start', and the system will follow the drawn temperature or pressure profile, utilising a sophisticated PID algorithm
