Milestone microwave synthesis systems - MicroSYNTHplus

The MicroSYNTHplus labstation is the most advanced system available for microwave enhanced chemical reactions. Featuring a multimode cavity, innovative reactor vessels, and sophisticated sensors and process control software easily integrate into the way you do your chemistry. Whether your approach to synthesis is parallel or batch, Milestone's microwave technology will allow you to perform more reactions in less time and/or with higher yields than conventional methods

Advanced microwave technology
Modern chemistry requires sophisticated laboratory instruments. The MicroSYNTHplus is specifically designed for the demands of laboratory work. Issues of performance, reaction control, and operator safety must be effectively addressed for microwave technology to receive acceptance in the industries where it can have the most impact, including drug discovery, materials research, polymers, and fine chemicals technology
Process single or multiple reactions simultaneously
Patented premixing and mode stirrer design create uniform energy distribution throughout the large multimode cavity. This results in homogeneous reaction conditions, regardless of sample volume or multiplicity

Scalability
Milestone offers a comprehensive line of reaction vessels. From ul to litres, from micro-well plates, to glass, quartz, or Teflon open reflux or closed high-pressure vessels, there is a Milestone device that will accommodate your specific chemistry
Precise reaction monitoring and control
Advanced sensor technologies in the MicroSYNTHplus labstation provide accurate, dynamic reaction parameter measurements for exacting reproducibility

Mixing ensures homogeneous reaction media
The variable-speed magnetic stirring module is a 'true' stirring system, not just a series of fixed magnets. The independently rotated magnet produces consistent stirring of solutions in all vessels, independent of their positions within the cavity.
Use existing chemistry
There is no need to change existing solvent chemistry to polar mixtures. Milestone's unique WeflonTM materials directly absorb microwaves, and transfer that heat to the contents of the reactor. The stir bars, buttons, or reactor components become heating elements, allowing the user to effectively heat microwave-transparent solvents, without adding polar co-solvents.
Rapid, reproducible method development
Draw the desired temperature profile on the graphic display, and with the click of a mouse, the advanced WindowsTM- based software will dynamically adjust the microwave power to deliver only what is needed to process the reaction according to the predefined profile. If required, parameters can even be changed in the middle of a reaction
